Precise Geolocation Data: We collect the Latitude and Longitude of your device at the moment you press the "Hug" button. We use this to place a marker on the global map.
Location Name/Description: An automatically generated or user-provided name for the location of the hug (e.g., "Sydney Opera House").
Timestamp: The date and time the hug was recorded.
Hug Type: The type of hug you select (e.g., "Digital Hug," "Physical Hug").
Device Identifiers: Information about the device and operating system you use (e.g., device model, OS version, app version) for security and maintenance.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To Operate and Maintain the Service: To manage your account, verify your identity, and provide access to the map features.
To Fulfill the Core Mission: To place your Hug marker on the global map, which is the primary public function of the Service.
Public Display and Transparency: Your Name (or Display Name), Location Name, and the Latitude and Longitude of your hug are stored in our public database and displayed on the global map and the "Recent Hugs" list.
Analytics and Improvement: To understand how the Service is used, analyze trends, and improve the app's performance and features.
Safety and Security: To monitor for fraudulent or abusive activity and ensure the security of the Service.
The "World's Biggest Hug for Peace" project is built on public participation and transparency.

We do not publicly disclose your Email Address or Password.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics services) only as necessary to perform functions on our behalf.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Access and Correction: You may access and update your account information (Name/Display Name and Email) through the Service.
Deletion: If you wish to delete your account and all associated Hug records, please contact us using the information below. Once your account is deleted, your publicly visible contributions (hugs) will be permanently removed from the map.
Location Control: You can disable location services for the Service through your device settings. If location services are disabled, you will not be able to submit a hug.
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from children without parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
